Personal Electronic Device Policy

2025-2026

In accordance with Adams 14 School District Student Handbook which states:

 

Students that have cell phones with digital camera features shall not share any digital photos of students or staff with anyone unless written permission is obtained by the person being photographed. Cell phone usage by students during the school day is prohibited during class time.

 

Students at Adams City Middle School shall only use cell phones, earbuds, headphones, etc when outside of the school building. Electronic devices shall not be used inside the building. 

If found in violation of the above policy, the following will occur:

1. Student is reminded of the policy and asked to put the phone, earbuds, etc away. 
2. Upon 2nd instance, the cell phone will be confiscated and given to Dean’s to be given back at the end of the school day. 
3. If phone/device is confiscated more than 3 times, it will be the responsibility of the parent to pick the phone up from the school. 
   1. After the third time, students will drop the phone off in the Dean’s office in the morning and it will be able to be picked up at the end of the day.

 

 

Política sobre Dispositivo Electrónico Personal

Según el Manual de Estudiantes del Distrito Escolar Adams 14 que establece: 

 

Los estudiantes que tienen teléfonos celulares con funciones de cámara digital, no pueden compartir ninguna foto digital de los estudiantes o el personal con nadie, a menos que se obtenga el permiso por escrito de la persona fotografiada. El uso de teléfonos celulares por los estudiantes durante el día escolar está prohibido, todo el tiempo de clase.

 

Los estudiantes en Adams City Middle School solo utilizan teléfonos celulares, audífonos, etc., cuando están fuera del edificio escolar.  Los dispositivos electrónicos no se utilizarán dentro del edificio.  

Si el estudiante se encuentra violando esta política, ocurrirá lo siguiente:

1. Se le recordará al estudiante esta política y se le pedirá que guarde el teléfono.  
2. En la segunda infracción, el teléfono móvil será confiscado y entregado al decano, quien lo devolverá al final de la jornada escolar. 
3. Si el teléfono o dispositivo es confiscado más de tres veces, será responsabilidad de los padres recogerlo en la escuela. 
   1. Después de la tercera vez, los alumnos dejarán el teléfono en la oficina del decano por la mañana y podrán recogerlo al final del día.
